Carlo Collodi

Carlo Collodi (1826–1890) was an Italian writer and journalist best known for creating the classic children’s tale The Adventures of Pinocchio. Born in Florence, Italy, he began his career writing for newspapers and magazines before turning to children’s literature. His imaginative story about a wooden puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy has become one of the most beloved and widely read books in the world.
