Harper Lee

Harper Lee (1926–2016) was an American novelist born in Monroeville, Alabama. She is best known for 'To Kill a Mockingbird', a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel that explores racial injustice through the eyes of a child. Lee wrote only this novel for decades, though a sequel, 'Go Set a Watchman', was published in 2015. Her work remains a cornerstone of American literature.
