Rudyard Kipling
Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) was a British author, poet, and journalist best known for his classic stories The Jungle Book, Kim, and the Just So Stories. Born in India, he drew inspiration from Indian culture and landscapes in much of his writing. In 1907, he became the first English-language writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. His adventurous tales and memorable characters have made him one of the most influential writers in children’s and world literature.
