William H. McRaven

William H. McRaven is a retired U.S. Navy four-star admiral who served as the ninth commander of the United States Special Operations Command. He is best known for his 2014 University of Texas at Austin commencement speech, 'Make Your Bed,' which inspired his bestselling book. McRaven has written several books on leadership, resilience, and life lessons drawn from his military career. He holds a degree from the University of Texas and a master's from the Naval Postgraduate School.
