Daniel Goleman is a psychologist and science journalist who wrote for The New York Times, covering brain and behavior research. His landmark book 'Emotional Intelligence' introduced the concept of EQ to the global audience, arguing that self-awareness, empathy, and social skills are more critical than IQ for personal and professional success.
